When do boarding decisions come out?

Northern VA about 15 min from campus. But not attending.

For those of you that will be attending Madeira or who attend Madeira, where do you live? I am trying to get a sense of how far students live from the school that are day students.

And it also has become more difficult to get into the boarding school as well. There are more local boarders than there used to be--nice to be able to live on campus Monday-Thursday and be home on the weekends. No commute, enforced study hall time, etc.

I have heard that it is much tougher to get into Madeira as a day student than as a boarding student. They cap the day student population at 40% and the school has gotten very popular in this area recently.

We applied for boarding so we are waiting on results.

They have a wait list. My daughter was admitted off the wait list in a prior year (with scores nowhere approaching the PP's DD. So don't give up hope if you haven't heard or are wait listed. There can be movement).

Day. Straight As and above 90 Aggregate percentile on SSAT.

Is this for day students? If you don't mind, can you tell me SSAT and GPA range?

DD admitted but no call. Just email at midnight and today a hard letter.

DD got accepted with phone call and nice "Congratulations" packet in the mail.

I haven't seen much on Madeira admissions. Does Madeira have a wait list? Or is it only "acceptance" or "rejection" letters?
