Just scheduled mine for later this month in preparation for FET in April. Fingers crossed.

I've had one too and it was the only cycle that worked. It was cheap compared to everything else. There is some Oxford study that demonstrated a 50% increase in success rates with the scratch. I asked my RE (Frankfurter at GW) why they just don't do it as a matter of course. There are no risks as I understand it. Good luck!

I had a scratch at sgfc for my second successful ivf. I'm doing it again for kid number 2.

I just had one (and will have another in two weeks, leading up to a mid-April FET). Cost was $58 and I'm a fed with Aetna insurance.

I had a uterine biopsy (same thing) before my 3rd FET and that one was successful. I made other changes too, so can't say it was the scratch. If we did another transfer in the future I would get the scratch done again. For me, it was more painful than I expected, but well worth it. Insurance covered the biopsy since they also send the lining out to the lab to be checked. Ask your clinic how they code it, and maybe it will be covered.

I've had a uterine biopsy which should have the same effect, as well as a D&C that was performed the cycle prior to an FET (not due to miscarriage but solely to prepare for the FET). Both transfers worked although one ended in miscarriage.

Yes, I had one, but I can't remember what it cost as I had so many tests and treatments going on that I couldn't tell you line item costs.

Yes I've had two uterine biopsies which is almost the same thing except they take a sample. I'm in Canada so no idea as to cost. It worked both times unless it was a crazy coincidence. I didn't have IVF. I had repeated miscarriages and both times, the biopsies were done for testing purposes (infection, state of lining etc) during the TWW. The first time, it was done during my successful cycle. I wasn't supposed to be TTC that cycle but we dtd anyways and I got pregnant. Biopsy was done at 7dpo and I got a BfP that stuck at 10dpo. Had had 4 miscarriages prior to that. After my daughter I had 3 more miscarriages and had another biopsy. Got a sticky BfP the next cycle. Could be coincidence but the odds are low.
