And even this doesn't necessarily mean the school won't accept out-of-boundary students for pupil placements, if the applications are filed on time. This may not be relevant to OP, but it may be relevant to those considering applying for AP or IB pupil placements before the April deadline.

We are currently living in Fairfax County, and our son attends FCPS. We are planning to make an offer on a different house that is in-bounds for Oak View ES. However, when I just looked at the FCPS website, it said Oak View ES is over capacity and not accepting transfers. Does that mean if we buy this house, my son won't be able to attend our neighborhood school? Where would he be expected to go?
