Well, he hated that we didn't snuggle before falling asleep. But I was miserable with the snuggling because I was so hot. And he put up with my fan, but I couldn't have it blowing on me because it made him too cold. So again, I was miserable. When I would put the fan on me, he was miserable. So I made the command decision to sleep separately. Which he didn't like until we had to share a bed again when we visited my parents. Then he got it. He was miserable and couldn't sleep. We both woke up tired and cranky. Now he understands and supports sleeping separately.

We just make sure that on weekend mornings, we get a good snuggle in. (PS- sleeping separately does not affect how often we have sex)

We're like this, but I'm the hot woman sleeping with just a sheet and he's the cold one underneath layers of comforters. We even have the bed arranged so I'm nearest a window I can open for bursts of cold air sometimes.

OP, you must be very young? Don't you notice all kinds of normal people either run hot or cold in the same setting--classroom, office, etc?

This is the norm. My winter utility bill is lower now that I live with my fiancé!

This is super common. Husband is in shorts and shirt and I'm in pants and a sweater at home. It's ice though yo out my cold feet against him in bed .
We keep house on the colder side since it's cheaper and I have a collection of wooly socks and sweaters to regulate my own temp.

My wife and I solved this by having our own covers; She has many layers of comforters. I have a single light weight blanket. I am good. She is good. It took 15 years of marriage to come up with this solution.

Very very normal. Women have colder hands and feet but a higher actual body temperature. Men tend to regulate their body temperature better through sweat and the efficiency of their skin makes the skin feel hotter. Most people seem to think this is a win win situation. He's like a nice hot water bottle and you're like a cool breeze.

I noticed that my bf and I have different body temps and often times I'm always cold and he's super hot. When we're in bed together laying next to him seems like a furnace and its reached the point where I'm so hot that I need to separate so I can cool off. Is this nromsl that our body chemistry reacts like this?
