I'm on the other side of it too--I kind of love it. My skin is drier, but here's the thing--I'm older and I have more money now--I can afford the best beauty treatments.

I'm 49 and haven't had a period in 2 yrs. I have a bit of occasional night sweats but nothing else to speak of (other than infuriating weight gain.)
Seeing my doc for the annual check up in a couple of months and my biggest question is whether or not I'm going to be incredibly lucky and dodge hot flashes or whether that could still be coming?

You were really lucky. I started getting hot flashes at 44 and now I'm 50 and still not done! I went to 11 months then had a period. Last one was in July, so I'm hopeful.

I was done really early (42.5 completely done...started at 41). Pretty easy for me, too.

Watch out with the good skin - I had about a six month window where my skin looked great, and then it got so delicate that it scratches or marks easily and turns very red.
