OP here. What are the differences between Auburn and Alabama? I get those two mixed up a lot.

ITA with PP--those are great schools for you to focus on (assuming USC means South Carolina). Bama, Auburn, and Ole Miss in particular have extremely strong alumni networks.

Alabama vs Auburn:

Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. But you will be on the edge with that GPA.

Miami University in Ohio (aka Miami of Ohio). Has a great and well ranked business school. Large Greek system and plenty of conservatives.

It doesn't matter where you go to undergrad to go to law school and you won't get in anywhere with good Wall Street placement.

I seem to recall a thread about someone with scores like yours who allegedly got accepted. Good luck with your UVa application.

OP here. I'd say UVA is moderate. I have 2 very conservative friends who went there.

I would hope that you wouldn't be ostracized at any large school because of your particular political philosophy. But calling yourself a "Paleocon" makes you come across as pretentious and weird. If you decide you must use this label, be aware that it will rub people wrong. Not because you have a different belief system, but because you seem self importent and obnoxious.

i think the bolded part will be tough with your GPA. what about some of the other southern state schools? they would have the strong academics, good Greek system and moderate faculty/student body part.

3.2 GPA? That's going to make things tough.
