This is OP, and I'm not sorry that I did let her sleep elsewhere. My child was very scared, it was past bedtime, and I did what I had to so that we could all get to bed as quickly as possible. I guess we will just go slowly, and maybe her fear will lessen. I read a blog that said I should show her how to dispatch them, and that will make her feel empowered. Not sure that will work though.
