Sort of. He was my first kiss and boyfriend when we were 12. Then we broke up and reconnected 13 years later. Kind of cool to marry my first kiss

I do think that a lot of people marry their first sweethearts, especially if they met in college.

I see that a lot in the NY Times wedding section. They met in college and then marry late 20s. My parents married at 21 and were married 55 years until my father died.

Same here. 35 years later, still going strong.

Married my first crush does that count? We never went out in HS but I had a huge crush on him (he had no idea). Met again after about 13 years (both dated seriously but never lived with anyone). And clicked and got married. I love how we knew each other as awkward teenagers and can see how far we have come.

Similar story here. Dated for 4 in college, married at 25, kids at 32. I cannot imagine being with someone else.

DH was my first and only serious relationship. I was 29 when we met. I dated/slept with a few other guys but nothing committed.

Sort of. Dated one other person, but not seriously, so can't say he was my BF. I was 30. Yep, 30, when I started dating DH.

Yep, I did. Met in middle school. I was 13, he was 15. 23 years and 4 kids later, here we are!

NOTE: We did break up for a year when I was 18. I wanted to experience single life.

How often does this happen?
