I have found an amazingly supportive and informed community on PVED. We use the acronyms, but that's because it's faster and easier to communicate that way, not because the community members prefer to speak baby talk. (It's definitely NOT Babycenter. God help us.) PVED is a mix of folks who are pursuing egg donation - some new and others very, very experienced. Met some really, really great women (and their families) there.

I am a DE veteran and learned so much from this board (if you happen to be at SG it is perfect):

Note that the people on there do use "silly" terminology but they are no fools and generally know their sh*t. (Note: jump to the last page as the postings appear in reverse order for some reason)

Resolve is a generally sober forum, with a mix of people trying OE, DE and surrogacy.

Google network54 and de. You might see some of that terminology, but it's a pretty serious and knowledgeable group that you'll encounter.

Are there other online support forums people can recommend? I'm moving on to donor egg and would like to start following a site more focused on that. The ones I found when I googled used a lot of silly terminology like embies and frosties and follies. They can't all be like that, right? If anyone has a forum you can recommend, I would appreciate it.
