Wisp or Wintergreen based on your length of time. Snowshoe is by far the best, but it is easily a five hour drive and not worth it IMO for just one night. I only go there if I have at least a three day weekend.

I've never skied Wintergreen, but Wisp is pretty good for this part of the world. Nice view of Deep Creek Lake from a couple of the runs. If you're only staying one night, I'd just book the lodge - most rooms have a kitchenette I think and it's very convenient to just hop on the chairlift in the a.m. If going for longer it's nice to rent a house nearby.

We have really enjoyed wintergreen. Our kids did well in the ski program. Mountain has decent conditions and decent variety for this area.

Going for 2 days, one night, with 6.5 and 4yo, botherwise have skied before. Considering snowshoe, wisp, or wintergreen. Mom is bunnysloper, dad does black diamonds or whatever. Thanks.
