There is your answer - they are doing it in Baltimore so it's out. I am from Baltimore so can say this, hon.

Exactly. Ombre has been out for a while.

Yes I think they are out.

Agree! Dated look. It also makes women look older and trashy.

Can you post pictures? I think you can do ombre only if you are very careful about the rest of your look all the time. Otherwise you look like your roots are growing out. I'm definitely seeing more dark underneath and more subtle highlights and less dishwater blonde like the poster above mentioned.

A lot of dark underneath, but still the blonde highlights. So I don't think they're going anywhere. The dark underneath looks nice and is the opposite of the roots-grown-out look!

I think people are definitely gravitating more towards balayage than highlights these days. The "Laguna Beach" blonde is definitely out. No one wants that dreaded line of demarcation when blonde is growing out!!

It's been out for awhile..unless you live in Vegas or are a stripper.

The dishwater white blonde look has been out for a while. Not nearly as many adults have this color, as claim to have it.

Depends on the person and their coloring.

I don't know what you mean by subtle ombré. Can you post a pic? I do have blonde highlights but I think they are pretty subtle. My colorist does some fancy thing that she talks a lot about to make it blend subtly--I can really remember because I don't pay that much attention but it looks good.
