Within 3 - 4 hours (as soon as he returned home from work that day). He knew he was caught and confessed.

It took me a few weeks to figure out what was going on and gather evidence. I confronted once I had as much as I was going to be able to get. I'm glad I collected evidence before letting him know that I was on to him because his reaction was to lie and conceal.

I found out via texts I saw that showed up on our family iPad. DH was on a work trip. I called him a few hours later. He partially admitted to the affair, but there were more.

I confronted at marriage counseling three days after I found basically definitive proof. I had suspected the affair for several months before. He admitted that something was going on right then and there, and took another two days to admit that he had been actually having sex with the woman.

I confronted <24 hours. I don't believe in drama. I had the facts though so I didn't have to gather evidence. I waited for the night to come so our kids would be asleep.

All these cheating threads have me curious! I'm sorry for what many betrayed spouses have gone through. How long from finding out did you wait to confront your cheating spouse?
