No washing, but I vacuum mine. I take them down, shake them out and then vacuum with the attachment.

My bedroom ones are dry clean only. i just shake them out and hang outside on the clothes line a couple times a year.

I usually wash 2 times a year ( end of summer and after new year.) If any piece becomes dirty after hosting guests or so I usually wash them.

I finally realized I should probably wash my curtains. How often do people wash theirs? Do you have different ones for summer vs. winter?
