Racer back styles are a no no. They also give me tension head aches from the pressure on my neck/inner shoulder area. I find a lot of yoga style sports bras have traditional straps that go straight back or styles made for larger chested women.

I have this problem too - the straps put pressure on a tight spot (trigger point?) where my neck and shoulder meet. It gives me terrible headaches! I got a bunch of the Under Armour seamless bras with adjustable straps after many years of buying Target and Nike that I hated. Not sure these would work for running, but are great for gym classes, spin, yoga etc.

I am a b-c cup and exercise frequently (training for ironman, typically I will do various workouts for a total of 2-3 hours per day, 6 days per week.) Ive never noticed my sports bra giving me a headache. I wear an under armour eclipse bra.

I haven't heard of Moving Comfort. Looks like it has great reviews on amazon and the straps seem to sit further off the neck. Great find! I will also check out Lululemon free to be.

Thanks 16:45, it seems like most sports bras are racerback style so I was hoping for any recs for specific non racer back styles. They seem harder to find.

17:02 I have noticed it getting worse since I had kids. I even tried a Lululemon tank top with built in sports bra after my first and it still gave me headaches. I even sized up on the tank thinking maybe that would help. So I am hoping if the straps don't sit closely to the neck then I won't get the headaches.
It's so frustrating! I would love to be able to wear one for longer than just a workout especially for long walks and hikes.

If you mean a racerback style sports bra, you can get a regular tank-style sports bra with wider-apart straps.

I am looking for a sports bra that doesn't give me a headache.

I am a B cup and only do low impact activities so I do not necessarily need high support for say, running with size D.

I don't really care about cost. I usually get the target brands but willing to spend money for something that would work. Everything I see online seems like it will be the same problem - the straps cutting too close to the neck which is what I think causes the headaches.

Any suggestions for specific bras you love? Or where to look? Lululemon? Lorna Jane? Lucy? Athleta?
