Would you tell the mom?

I know it's really none of my business and its up to the parents teachers and Drs to diagnose but I want the little girl to get help if need be. She is losing friends In the meantime.

Are you a medical professional that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of such things? If not, definitely no. If so, tread extra extra lightly.

I am not the OP,

I am a professional who deals with this diagnosis and I wouldn't say something.

Part of the definition of ADHD is that it impacts kids in multiple settings. If she has it, then school will be providing her feedback. That's their job. Your job is to be a friend.

Nope. Nope. Nope.

You are allowed to say, "Larla sure has a lot of energy. Does she ever slow down?" But that's all.

No, unless mom asks:

"I just worry about Larla sometimes. She is always bouncing off the all when the other kids are settling down to do projects or listening in class. I've been thinking maybe I should have her evaluated because maybe she has ADHD or something. What do you think? Am I just overreacting?"

No, they may know and choose not to share. Or, they don't care.

Are you referring to the OP, for even wondering such a thing?

My dd friend is very sweet with a huge heart. She is 100 percent of the time bouncing off the walls. There are numerous other actions that I would be certain she has adhd. She is about to be 7.

Would you tell the mom?
