Allianz does this also if the agency you're renting the house from doesn't include it. Travel insurance is always worth it IMO.

We did this once for a house rental in the outer banks (hurricane season) and it was pretty cheap.

Should be-- look at insuremytrip and dig into what the requirements are for collecting/canceling for medical issues are (and confirm that preexisting conditions are covered-- usually they are if you buy a policy shortly after paying for the house). Worst case you could look for "cancel any reason" insurance, but that will be more expensive.

Hoping DCUM will come through. I have found a great summer house rental in Maine. We have some ongoing health issues that leave us with a bit of uncertainty with regard to the summer rental. Is it possible to buy reliable insurance against this risk? If so, what should I be looking into?
