Yes, I filed an official complaint. That the csb said they'd address, and give me an update in a few days. That was two weeks ago.

How many DC public schools have had to be reconstituted and how many are failing a majority of their students? More than 40%.

Many tasks including review applications for new charter schools / authorize them; do reviews of existing charters' performance; approve contracts / RFPs for expenditures in excess of $25,000; audit charter schools annually.

What did you want people to say, that charter board employees do nothing all day except scheme at how to steal students from DCPS or how to kick out low performing students to DCPS? That sounds like what the board does. Supposedly there's oversight in there, but I don't know if it's effective/people use it/whatever.

Did you file a complaint through some official means? When did this happen?

If they recommended that you get a lawyer or transfer, I am curious as to what your complaint was. It sounds like it should be taken seriously, but I don't know you.
