?? Strange comment. It's a large city with major chain hotels. They're fine. I happen to love Philly. If you are looking for a pool near 30th St. Station, I'd try the downtown Marriott. A very quick cab ride away. I can't think of a hotel that's in easy walking distance to the station, unfortunately. But the Marriott is well located. I'd also consider staying in Rittenhouse Square or Old City. Philly is a really walkable city. Have fun!

You'll need to stay in center city . The station is situated between Drexel/Penn and center city- there is nothing super close. You'll need to take a cab if you have suitcases. I'd stay in Rittenhouse.

Nothing is really walking distance to 30th street. There is every major brand in center city. Homewood suites is nice...free breakfast too.

Any recommendations? I'm looking through reviews on hotels.com, but I wanted to ask the DCUM peanut gallery too. We're looking for a hotel with a pool and hopefully within walking distance to a few things. Thoughts? Thanks!
