You need advice on this? Don't respond, end of story. No one wants to date or keep a relationship with anyone that talks to their ex or continues to see them. Ignore this idiot, he only wants to use you for back up.

Edited the rest. The bits about having a boyfriend and he having a girlfriend is unnecessary and juvenile. Just say what you mean and mean what you say. And if he persists, don't reply again.

Why haven't you blocked him? You explicitly told him to stop contacting you. He didn't respect that. Either keep receiving messages and getting mad when he texts, then have to decide every time you receive one if you should ignore, hint to stop, or explicitly tell him to stop again. Or you can block him and be done. Seems like an easy solution.

Sorry to hear OP. Sounds like he did you a great favor by breaking up with you. Best approach is to just ignore all attempts at contact. If that doesn't work after a few weeks, start keeping track of his attempts to contact you and consider next stages of calling it harassment, but I think he'll probably go away without this. You told him you don't want any more contact and why, now just stick to it!
