Obviously I was hurt, but after thinking about things, I figured we wouldn't have lasted anyway. So a few weeks ago, he messages me wanting to catch up. He says he has a new girlfriend now and cut things off with his ex and still wants to be friends as he thinks about me often. I'm in a relationship with an amazing guy. I have no reason at all to keep in touch with my "ex". He has messaged me 3x times this week and I got fed up and told him to leave me alone, I have a boyfriend and I'm not interested in being friends with him, especially since he hurt me. He won't take the hint and just invited me to his Superbowl party! I never met any of his friends and that would just be uncomfortable, I still don't want to go. What exactly should I say to him to get him to stop bothering me?
You need advice on this? Don't respond, end of story. No one wants to date or keep a relationship with anyone that talks to their ex or continues to see them. Ignore this idiot, he only wants to use you for back up.
