Yes, the Bullis School summer camps. Much more advanced than Tiny Chefs. True cooking instruction and sophisticated meal prep. My 9 yo loved it!

Pinecrest has a few cooking camps. I believe Congo has a farm to table cooking camp as well.

Falls Church City Parks & Rec is offering at least two cooking camps. If you are a city resident, you can start registering now. If not a city resident, registration begins on Monday. The camp I registered my kid for goes from 9-3 and then they offer both before and after camp care. http://fallschurchva.gov/camps

I've been looking for this for 6 year olds too, but in the Bethesda area.

How do I sign up for this? I went to the school website and couldn't see a link for summer camps.

We're doing one, but it's on Capitol Hill in DC.

Jccnv is partnering with Cookology. It's for rising 3rd graders. Maybe give them a call and see if your child can attend.

All day cooking is hard. It's a long time for anyone to be on their feet over hot oven.

Jccnv includes transportation and then they'll do some more traditional camp activities during the day.

Finding a full day cooking camp has been a challenge

For children 6-7 years old in Arlington, Vienna, Tysons, Falls Church, Annandale or Fairfax.
