Well, I'm the second melanoma survivor on this thread who would suggest you reconsider. Hopefully they will be banned in this country, as they are in others.

So glad to hear it! My partner researches melanoma, and it is horrible. Get a self tanner and maybe make a pina colada to celebrate a great decision!

Spray tan or else embrace your pale self.

Vitamin D is worth supplementing though if your levels are low -- get them checked. The Rainbow Light Vitamin D gummies are delicious -- I never have a problem taking those!

Please don't go to a tanning bed. As a melanoma survivor I can tell you that it is not worth it.

Going once per month won't give you any noticeable color. Try a spray tan instead.

And honestly, given the current FDA warnings, I can't believe anyone would even consider a tanning bed any more.

The UV from tanning beds is a known carcinogen. Indoor tanning is so bad it was banned in Australia and FDA is trying to restrict minors' access and make adults sign an acknowledgment of risk. Seriously -- it's bad for you and not worth the melanoma risk (not to mention premature aging). Try self-tanner instead or learn to love your natural skin tone.

Also, I am prone to seasonal affective disorder too. Regular exercise and getting outside (even if it's cold and gray) really helps!

I use a great self tanner by Neostrata. Give it a try.

No, not a troll. Maybe the spray tan instead. Agh. I need some Vitamin D.

Before you know it, you may develop cancer because you have bad genes. You don't need that.

How do you feel about picking up occasional smoking of cigarettes, as an oral fixation to help you lose weight?

Seriously OP, don't do it. Tanning beds contribute to skin cancer (which, you know, is CANCER), just like smoking cigarettes contributes to lung cancer.

Be pasty. It's ok. There's nothing wrong with being pasty, and it's a hell of a lot sexier than cancer.
