Another question... how important are certifications like Green Guard to you all?

Can anyone speak to the babyletto hudson or modo? I saw a vote for the mercer above, hadn't seen that one before.

I really like my son's Baby Cache crib we got from Babies R Us 3 years ago. He didn't go through that chewing stage so it still looks brand new. We also got the matching dresser and I love it for the great quality. We got the Espresso color.

Three years in we are very happy with our furniture made by Pali. It's good quality.

I really dislike my Natart furniture. It's green guard certified but still stinks in the dresser drawers (so bad that 7 months in I still can't put clothes in the drawers) and the quality is pretty sub-par. Not what I expected for the price and reputation.

We got a Restoration Hardware Baby, which was made by Bassett (on major clearance) and it was lovely. I got a matching dresser (adult) at Bassett so we could use it after the crib, which we have. I wanted an adult one vs. a baby one as I didn't want to have to get rid of it in a few years. Its held up really well and looks new.

We love our babyletto mercer crib because it has a storage drawer at the bottom. We got it in white, then just got an ikea dresser in white. Easy peasy.

IKEA Gulliver crib and Hemnes dresser with a changing mat on top, attached to the back of the dresser. Skubb boxes to organize the drawers.

+1 I don't necessarily like perfect matches

Crib-Baby's Dream (it's older, though)
Dresser-IKEA, one that used to be mine as a teenager. 25 years old and still works fine.

I'm a loyal IKEA dresser purchaser. I have always found their dressers have tons of storage space and the ones I have owned have lasted a good long time.

We ditched our older daughter's crappy pottery barn dresser in favor of a Craigslist purchased IKEA dresser that her daddy then painted for her.

I really like my IKEA Gulliver crib. It converts to a toddler bed and was inexpensive & easy to assemble. I like the simple look of it. We got an IKEA Nornas dresser to go with (will put a changing pad on top). Nothing fancy, but works for us.

Thinking of buying one of the DaVinci cribs but Baby Bargains says to skip the DaVinci dressers. Wondering if colors would match ok if we bought from different brands? I'm sure not everyone's espresso or cherry is the same, white would be fine obviously.
