If you have a kid in a Tysons school, just look at Arlington or Fairfax. Why hassle with a commute to Loudoun?

Loudoun has pull outs and projects. Call them and ask directly as their model is very different than Fairfax's.

Well, FCPS has FT standalone AAP classrooms for gifted kids at designated Centers starting in 3rd. Loudoun has ???? Not actually sure.

NotOP, but interested in an objective comparison as well... if we can ever get to that.

Why are you picking housing based on gifted education when that "gifted education" may or may not come to be for your child who must be somewhere around the age of 4?

It is not soley based on this, but gifted education programs are one factor I'm researching in the process. Didn't think this was the right forum to ask about appreciation and such... . We do believe she will fall into a gifted category based on family history and an already demonstrated curiosity and ability to grasp complex concepts.

It depends on which HS In Loudoun and which HS in Fairfax.

Fairfax has a huge budget shortfall. I would select Loudoun to avoid the budget mess.
