Change the age parameters on eharmony. Move the age range to remove the early 30s guys and extend the older end. You can control which ages you get hits from.

Do you think eharmony has enough of a rep for being a "relationship" sight that the men who are on there might be more relationship minded?

I've only used Match and had good results. I'm with someone now I'm serious about, but if I had cause to go online again, I might try okcupid.

I met DH on OKCupid. Yeah, there are guys there that just want to hook up. But those guys are everywhere. You'll just have to do some vetting before hand.

Try OK Cupid. A bunch of my friends have met nice people on the site, and you can browse as well as having matches sent to you. You can get a pretty good sense of a person from their site, as some people will answer a bunch of questions and you can look at their answers.

I've heard Plenty of Fish mentioned too. And it is possible to meet guys for dating from Tinder, but you have to weed out the ones who are just looking to hook up.

Op here. Honestly if I was a 31 year old guy I wouldn't want to date someone almost forty. I'm not surprised they aren't interested. Just saying eharmony isn't working for me - they aren't matching me with many people.

I'm not familiar with the service but friends had luck on Match.

Eharmony only sends me maybe ten matches a month, and most of them are way younger than men (I'm a woman and seriously doubt and early thirties guy wants to date someone who is almost forty).

What else should I try? I would prefer something that isn't too public.
