I always have bubbles, and have never ever had a UTI.

Op- it could anything from "nothing" to "very serious."

Dehydration to just peeing quickly = not too much of a concern.

Yeast infection/uti: easy to address (typically)

Protein in urine-a lot more worrisome.

Ergo they should have at LEAST have taken a sample.

Weird physical symptom in young child? Um. No. You are supposed to follow up. Doctors aren't infallible. Half of them graduated at the bottom half of their class.

Get a new ped - it was a no-brainer to get a urine sample. Though I've never heard of bubbles in the urine being a sign of a UTI. I would try a bath with a half cup white vinegar (or more? Can't remember. Your ped should be able to tell you if you call). Is she having urgency to pee or burning?

So I took my DD (7) in to the doctor this week because I noticed that she was scratching herself frequently and when I asked she said it hurt. The office was SWAMPED after being closed due to the snow. They did a quick look and thought it was just minor irritation and suggested we use aquaphor. I noticed this afternoon that her urine is bubbly.

Am I being a little bit of a helicopter mom here and I need to relax? Or should I take her back and ask for a urine check?
