+1. My son had his at one of those mystery/escape rooms in Old Town. Very cool, and his friends liked it. There are a handful of them now in DC and VA (not sure re: MD).

If he doesn't have any ideas he might not actually want a bday party this year.

My son is turning 14 in February and we are struggling to come up with birthday party ideas. Obviously, it needs to be inside since it is February. Anyone have any suggestions in the Arlington/Alexandria area?
