Yea, taking the bus. I usually walk, but push little sibling in a stroller which is pretty useless right now. My goal is to get there, but not necessarily on time.

Yes, but only because my child rides the bus - if we had a drive (which would be the alternative), I likely wouldn't. Or we'd aim to arrive late - they're still just now clearing our turns and corners, etc.

No. My street isn't plowed, nor any of the surrounding side streets. I'm not chancing an accident or getting stuck.

Yes. Will walk 1 mile to metro from house. School is 2 blocks from station so that part is easy.

I'm not sure right now. I want to ride the bus, but not a single bus near me is running. Driving seems like a disaster waiting to happen, so we may stay home and take an extra day.

I wish I knew what the roads were like on a larger scale. I live in SE, but have to get my son to NW for school, and I work in Virginia, so the commuting options sound awful.

Yes. We normally take the bus, which is slightly more convenient, but will likely metro, as that seems safer. I am a little nervous, though-- my kids are little, and even though we are close to a main road, there are still large snowbanks and crosswalks are not shoveled out, which means a walk to the metro which could be dangerous. I really wish they had shoveled out crosswalks, especially near schools. Our neighborhood school's surrounding crosswalks are not even shoveled!

Our charter is on a two hr delay but our street isn't plowed so I can't get out of our block. It will NOT be an excused absence since our charter does not follow DCPS.

We will stay home.
