Dominion, 7 Wonders, Ticket to Ride.

You might try going to Labyrinth or Childs Play and just asking them for advice. I've found the people at Childs Play very helpful in the past.

I echo qwirkle as well. I should also mention if they like puzzles then Forbidden Island would be good.

We are really into connect4, sequence, castle logic, Gravity maze right now. But our oldest child is 6. She also really likes match/memory game - we don't but indulge her.

We are also into puzzles, including Lego sets we work as a family.

I'm really not a board game person, but figure I ought to give it a try. My daughters are 10 and 12. Not into Monopoly and Clue. I generally prefer Trivia type games.
