You're right. But considering that the ball player's parents are working to pay his tuition at a private school I think he will be protected via the privilege that comes with attendance and association.

This is one of the best shows on television right now. I was just blown away by the episode the other night because it's so realistic. Anyone who has worked with juvenile cases before can relate to this season. Last season was awesome as well. Nothing on television intrigues me these days. However, I love American Crime because it's like viewing a real life court case or a current event. The writers really take you on a journey. It also addresses stereotypes and how we perceive others without knowing their full story or the truth. I can't wait until the next episode.

Another fan here. I didn't see season 1, but happened to catch the first episode of this season. I kept trying to figure out if that was Andre Benjamin on my screen, but ended up getting hooked on the story. I'm very interested to see what happens.

Yes. I love it. I work in the criminal justice system and it is the absolute best show on TV depicting the criminal justice system. I loved the first season and have been waiting for the second.

Most one hour network TV dramas are definitely close to documentaries. Like on "Scandal" -- having the courage to break the under-reported story that sometimes people in the government assassinate members of the President's family. "American Crime" is a great insight into independent schools.

Is anyone watching it this season? It's on ABC. Definitely not portraying IS in a good light! Of course it's just TV but it's seems to touch on a lot of issues I have read about on various DCUM threads. Thoughts on the show?
