I had two ex bf's at my wedding both with their wives and / or partners. one of them was already a great friend of my DH.

Absolutely no biggie.

But we're Europeans and I think less uptight about this kind of thing than most Americans. I'm not being rude, I just think its really the case.

If you aren't currently friends (not just acquaintances) or if they are single, I would say don't invite. Single people hate weddings, especially weddings for their exes!

+1 or 2 if you count DH! However, if I had kids with an ex I'd consider inviting an ex to make the kids happy.

My Ex was our Officiant. We had been friends my Freshman year. We dated for like a month and decided that we were better friends. He's been my Best Friend for 20 years, oh and now he's Gay.

But an Ex who isn't a friend now, no way.

Two of my exes came to my wedding. I've always had amicable break-ups. My husband and I went to their weddings too. Fifteen years later we still exchange Christmas cards and keep up with each other on social media.
