Widow here and I'm a COO. Honestly, when my husband passed they came at me like bees to honey. I met and married someone in my industry, who happens to be 2yrs younger. I'm in IT, so women are scarce here, especially at my level.

I too would not be interested in men without a similar intellect and drive (and who doesn't work oit and keep fit, which is a no go). And why should I have settled? I bring a lot to the table. I'm completely independent and will never be a drain. I'm in shape and have no problems socializing on all levels, which is actually quite important.

You are mid 40s, not mid 20s. The competition for this type of men is extremely high. Its almost the opposite of the very attractive 20 some women. Instead, these men are married(reducing the pool), have 20's, 30's and 40's year old women after them. Good luck!

I know several Men like this. The good ones are happily married. The ok ones want a gf with a less demanding job so when his schedule Is crazy his SO can easily work in time to spend together. The bad ones don't want a serious relationship because they enjoy the single, wealthy lifestyle too much.

I meet men like that all the time, but I'm happily married and not interested. It helps that I am not nearly as self-impressed, I suspect.

You want status, not a mate. Re-evaluate.

You have to go older - say, mid-50s. Divorced and widowed guys in that age range. Guys your age can date younger, and they do.
