Make sure he does not blow the snow onto others driveways. Our neighbors got a snowblower last year and after I spent hours shoveling, I came out to find them covering my car with snow. I assume they were not paying attention, but I fear the worst for this year.

That was us. We got a snowblower this year. our comments were "It's going to be a great insurance policy for the winter!" We were really hoping he'd never have to use it.

For about 2 months, I was sure it was indeed an effective "no winter here" insurance policy.

Just make sure you (or DH) gives it a test tonight or tomorrow - that it starts properly, etc. (we tested ours already.)

Lol I gave myself a cookware set a few Christmas back. Once I also gave myself a kitchen aid mixer... My husband and I have everything (or almost) that we want/need. It is hard to gift each other and most of the time we give ourselves something practical that we were going to buy anyway just to have something to open. It is hard to gift another adult.

I'm not opposed to the Mac, but not in our budget this past year.

Don't worry, that was almost me, too. Right before I bought it, I decided to asked DH about it rather than making it a surprise. He said he wasn't interested. Oh well.
