Make sure he doesn't wait until there's a foot of snow. Electric has the advantages of reliability and not having to deal with the hassles and maintenance of a gasoline engine, but they're not the most powerful. However, if you only have a small driveway, it should be perfect.
I will tell him. Our driveway is small (1 1/2 cars length) and a small sidewalk as well.
