If my seat reclines and comes with a blanket and pillow, there better be a place to plug in my sleep apnea machine. And a wake-up call.

The non VIP seats are the 2 or 3 front rows. You know, the ones you avoid when you go to a movie.

14:00 again. The food there is pretty good. You could do dinner at the iPic. Some items are a little tricky in the dark, but most are manageable and tasty.

Do you mean the Rockville/North Bethesda one in the new Pike&Rose complex? It's nice. We've been many times.

The regular "premium" seats are very close to the screens and do not have food service. You might as well go to a regular theater or the Arclight or something.

The "premium plus" seats are further back, recline, and include popcorn (no additional charge) and food service. If you're going to do the iPic, do those.

Haven't been to the Bethesda one, but the Rockville one is clean, nice, good food and drinks. It is expensive but totally worth it to steer clear of nthe riff raff.

VIP seats fully recline, you get a pillow and blanket and table service with a full menu. If you order a drink, like a Sprite, they automatically bring you refills.

Beware that the regular/non-VIP seats are really close to the screen.

We sat in these seats for Star Wars and would not do it again. It was uncomfortable being that close.

For a big event like a birthday celebration, go big or go home when it comes to IPic Would we pay for the VIP seats anytime we wanted to go to a movie? Heck no! But I'm glad we did it for a special occasion movie. It was nice to recline with the pillow and blanket that are provided. If you spring for the VIP seats, just have dinner there. The wait staff will come to your seat to take the order and deliver the food to your seat. Before the movie began, they also gave everyone in the VIP section a free bag of popcorn.

Do they wash the blanket and pillow each time.

I don't know but our pillows and blankets were not dirty. I was expecting a blanket like you get on an airplane but the one at IPic was nice and fuzzy.

^^ that's what I'm wondering. I looked at their facebook page and some of the reviews complained about dirty blankets and pillows. I only read the first several reviews but most of them were not good.

Can you provide a link? I must be missing it because I've browsed around the website a few times but don't recall seeing this.

If you click on a movie and time as if you were going to buy tickets, a description of each pops up. Basically the VIP seats have blankets, popcorn, and seat-side food and beverage service.

Has anyone gone? I'm thinking of taking my teenage son for his birthday. I looked at the website and the lounge recliner seats are $28/piece. There is a premium seat fee and a VIP fee. The other seats that look less fancy are $16 a piece. What exactly is the VIP and is it worth an extra $12 per seat? Also, I see they have food there. We usually take our son to dinner for his birthday. Is this the kind of place where we should plan to do dinner, or should we plan to do snacks/appetizers at the movie and dinner elsewhere?
