How much do you eat. I think that most of these diets are fads and at the end of the day loosing weight is a simple equation of more calories out than in.

This. But I don't understand the rejection of "nightshade" vegetables - tomatoes, mushrooms, eggplant etc

Also couldn't lose dairy, don't want osteoperosis.

Apparently b/c they are not anti-inflammatory. See this interview with their chef:

I eat too much fruit and enjoy indulging sometimes. I also eat tomatoes a couple of times a week. Otherwise their diet isnt that crazy.

Not my thoughts, but those of someone with actual training in nutrition (unlike the fadtacular chef):

http://www.soolmannutrition.com/2016/01/3756/

"If your body is acidic, your medical chart probably lists a diagnosis of metabolic acidosis, respiratory acidosis, or diabetic ketoacidosis – none of which are caused by overconsumption of sugar or other carbohydrates – and you are reading this blog from your hospital bed"

My diet is similar to theirs but would NEVER give up coffee. I would rather die then not have a cup of the black deliciousness!

I used to model. I ate a LOT of produce and very little packaged food. Had tons of energy, and was rarely hungry. I did eat nightshades, but almost no sugar except what was in fruit.

It did not seem difficult to me, except for socializing with people outside the industry.

Wow. Their hotel "rider" must be very complicated.

I think it sounds delicious and healthy, but quite restrictive and time consuming. And I cannot fathom a universe in which I voluntarily give up coffee.
