Ugh. I hope all of the 'he just doesn't know how to deal with illness' posters come back and see this. There was no good reason or excuse for his behavior. Now we know why he was really acting that way.

Yes there is. Grief is exhausting. Dealing with the logistics of divorce is exhausting. Asking the OP to deal with both simultaneously is cruel and probably a calculated strategy to keep OP from fighting for her rights in the divorce.

That's horrible! Was the divorce request out of the blue? Either way, he should of been more sensitive. And if there are kids involved this seems especially insensitive.

I'm so sorry for your loss, and that your husband did that.
