AP physics 1 is a first-year science, but it's the only AP like that.
So, could you take one of those "2nd year classes" like AP Bio or AP chem as your senior year (12th grade) science core requirement? Or would it have to be in addition to whatever your 12th grade core science class is?
Biology in 9, Chemistry in 10, Physics in 11, AP in one of those sciences in 12

If you do 4 years of language, that open 2 electives the last 2 years. But you have use use an "elective" slot somewhere for consume finance or take it online over the summer.
So in the end, you would have 28 classes/credits. If you take Algebra and FL in 8th.... and also take Personal Fin. in the summer -- you would end up with 31 classes/credits?
Ultimately, my question is how many electives will my child have (if you assume what I said about 8th grade and Pers Fin.)?
Am I right that you get one elective in 9th and 10th grades b/c of PE. Once that is done, you would get three slots for electives each year in 11th and 12th grade (assuming Pers. Fin is a summer class)?
