Again, PP you can't be both a divorced single MOm AND in your early 30's ( maybe) in DC.

At 31-33 in DC you are maybe getting married, but you are not already divorced with kids . That takes at least 10 years. So this woman had to be at least 40, likely 50.

Seems the description of the AD has shifted since some pretty identifying info was posted :

" west coast transplant who is divorced and now a single mom"

" seemed too young and immature for her role"

The average age at marriage in America for women is 29. Average age in Washington to be a parent is 35.

I doubt that PP's AD was a young person.


Middle aged, divorced and ADHD or some real problems, not someone just young and immature.


+1. I have not run across anyone that young in the position of AD...

because its mean spirited to ID someone by name who got the boot and has left town anyway.

Some people do interview well and if hiring team is a poor judge of character, you can end up with someone who can do a lot of damage to your school in a short period of time


Really? When it's clear so many people know exactly who it is, word will spread fast enough anyway.

Oh, I think I met her too at the Independent Schools Fair in October - was quite surprised she had landed where she did. They had such a fab director before, too.

Do tell...which school was this? Haven't experienced this, two interviews were very much like a typical interview and one felt like a great conversation with a new friend.
