I have to admit that what happened was very weird. I entered your username and email address and got the message that you were receiving about needing a valid email address. I simply deleted the email and re-entered it. It took it the second time. It was being considered invalid by Javascript, which is why I didn't see any error messages in the logs. That is all client-side. I have no idea what was causing the error.
Hmm well thank you for making it work! Yeah I have little clue about stuff like java. I tried that last night (re-entering it) but nothing. Thanks.

The forums use a separate authentication system so the logout button doesn't work for the forums section. The authentication times out after 10 minutes, so you could just wait. Or, quit your browser and restart it.

This is slightly different, but I'm having trouble logging out. I click the log out button on the DCUM home page yet still remain logged in.
I'd like to be able to log in when I wish to discuss certain topics and be anonymous for all of my other postings.

I just registered a test account with an email address in the same format (except that it wasn't at gmail). There was no problem. If you can hit the "report" button and send me your email address, I can try some tests. Also send the username you want to use. I see if I can set up the account for you.

There shouldn't be. But, are you sure it is complaining about an invalid email address and not an invalid username? Are you using your email address for a username?

It is hard to say without knowing what your email address is. I very simple test is done to check for validity. So, if you provided a valid email address, you shouldn't get that error.

Error messages keep saying invalid email address. What to do??
