If you are monitored clomid should not raise your chances of twins drastically. It does raise your risk, from very very small to just very small.
You can also always abstain if you think there are too many follicles.
Why are you taking it if you were able to conceive naturally?
+1. I had twins through IVF, and get the concern, although it really is small. You need to weigh the increased chance of twins against what you want to do medically and why (i.e., diagnosis). For example, would it be better for you to do IVF so you can have more control over the multiples risk?
