Wash all the new clothes and have them organized in drawers.

If you have pets, who will take care of them while you're pushing out the baby.

Sorry to be a downer, but consider an advanced medical directive and creating a will.

Diapers.

It's not a need, but I was happy I got a haircut right before the baby came, because it was many months before I was able to get another one.

It's good to know where you would go/who you would call for lactation help if you plan to breastfeed.

Depends. Some only offer the classes 4x a year. We're using an heirloom baptism dress so I need baby to fit in it and not be too big. Either way, this is something you can figure out off the internet.

Insurance. Disability paperwork if your company does that. Diapers, car seat, an outfit to bring baby home in, wipes, place for baby to sleep at home. Any big house projects since you won't get anything done for 6 months.

INSURANCE. Call your insurance and find out what you need to do when the baby is born.

We didn't have any trouble, but I know people who ran into trouble because they weren't covered when the baby was born, or the insurance "didn't know" the birthday, etc etc. They are super particular and annoying.

You can make the call while on the couch. Pause Netflix, and call.

I think that's it...

I am early in third tri and am just feeling too uncomfortable and tired to do anything these days but watch netflix and eat. What things do I absolutely have to have nailed down before this kid comes? I'm less asking about what purchases I need to make (I know I need a car seat and somewhere for him to sleep and some diapers), but moreso about what decisions I need to make. For example, I need to have a pediatrician picked out, right? What else?
