Was your child in pool?

No , we did WISC IV and submitted parent referral, got selected in first round.

Sounds like my kid, do you recall if NNAT and CogAT were in in 120s, 130s, 11_? I worried she won't get in.

Both NNAT and Cogat were in 120s

Thanks mine DD's were in the teens.

Yes, submit. What do you loose trying. If your child struggles the first year with math, you can always pull him out to regular ed with Level III enrichment. Good Luck!

this is a strong WISC, any high scores will be looked at positively (some folks may quarrel that WMI and Processing speed are less important), again it provides objective evidence

What are the other pieces of information?

DS performed in the "high average" for Verbal Comprehension, Visual Spatial and Fluid Reasoning but "Extremely High" for Working Memory and Processing Speed. This seems to be the opposite of most of the WISC scores accepted into AAP. Full Sale was 126. My impression is that the AAP is geared towards the "verbal" child and not really the "nonverbal" learner. Do other parents agree? Thoughts on whether a referral should even be submitted.
