DS seems to do best with a hybrid, an inclusive environment where he can be mainstreamed for most classes but have SN supports and maybe 1-2 self contained. Does this exist outside of public school? Thanks again.
Don't want to sound mean but if this is the type of school your son needs, you probably will not find a mainstream private school that will accept him and that includes Field and St. Andrews. Not pp, but our neuropsych also recommended these schools for our kid with Asperger's who only needs small class size.
Has your son had a neuropsych eval? That will be the best way to find out whether a SN school or a mainstream private will work.
