I dated an atheist Berber in grad school. He was always sharing his books on the biology of the mind. I also dated an atheist Pakistani. I don't think I could date a strong believer, though--I've read the Quran and there's just too much in there I'm uncomfortable with, especially wrt nob-Muslims and women.

Depends how in your face you are or they are. I am probably best described as an atheist and my DH is a church going Christian. It works out just fine.

Absolutely. Come from a mixed, mostly Catholic background. Dated a nice Turkish guy, a practicing Muslim. Had a crush on a Berber in college, also practicing Muslim - beautiful green eyes and golden skin tone. Sigh. Not too brainy, sadly. I ended up marrying an atheist Asian. At least there's the golden skin tone, plus he's brainy

No, because I'm Christian and would like my children to be raised in a single faith. If that weren't the case, I'd be as open to a Muslim person as I would be to anyone else of a different faith (Jewish, Buddhist, etc.).
