footed long sleeve cotton pjs and a baby dee dee sleep sack - like a cotton duvet cover sleep sack. hes 18 months and gets v cozy !

My very large son is still in a sleep sack st 2. You can go up a size if you want to give her more room to maneuver.

It is fine to keep her in it! My daughter can walk in hers. We still use them at 2. They figure it out quickly.

We paired cotton onesies inside a hefty cotton or flannel sleep sack. We also used a space heater in DD'S room, the oil filled kind.

Right now, since it's so cold, my 16-month-old wears a fleece sleeper, with a t-shirt over it as a "sleep sack." She seems warm enough. She was sleeping under a blanket for a while but throws it off immediately if we put one on her now.

On less-cold nights, she wears a cotton sleeper with or without feet (she wears socks if no feet) and the t-shirt.

My son sleeps in fleece pajamas and a fleece sleep sack and he's 18 months. We tried having him sleep under a blanket w/o the sleep sack but he hates it. I'm hoping over the summer we can break him of the sleep sack.

We have a warm sleep sack (baby in a bag winter weight). She stands up, sometimes she falls over, but I think it's good that it limits her movements a little bit.

You can also buy a sleep sack with footholes. I think halo makes one.

I'd definitely keep her in fleece PJs if you ditch the sleep sack. Maybe with a onesie underneath.

I would stay in the sleep sack, or you can layer: socks + onesie + fleece footed PJs. That is what my DC slept in at that age.

She will learn quickly how to navigate in the sleep sack. I personally wouldn't quit on that just yet.

If you are set on it, though, they make sleep sacks with little footie attachments, and you could just put socks on her.

Should I double up on sleepers when its really cold out?

I would keep the fleece sleep sack. I think it's safe and she's just figuring out how to manuever in it. We used ours until my son moved out of the crib at 3 years old. (We liked the thicker ones by Grobag)

DD is 10 months old and we are going to have to stop using the fleece sleep sack. She is standing up and falling over in her crib so its not safe anymore. What should I put her in now? Isn't it too early for blankets? She is usually in a long sleep onsie, socks if its really cold out and a fleece sleeper at night. Should I double up on sleepers when its really cold out? I am not sure if I can even do that since she is really chubby and I don't know if two would fit on her at once. Her room is usually 67 degrees at night (we keep the house at 67 all day long and she is always comfortable).
