A "2nd" for The Girl with all the Gifts. I'm not sure if you're into it, but "The Passage" and sequel "The Twelve" was gripping. I'm waiting for the third in the trilogy.

The Road by Cormac McCarthy is a beautifully written, punch-to-the-gut novel, really the best of the genre, but I'm guessing you already read this one. If not, do so immediately!

No judgement, but please tell me why you like these types of books? I can't get into them and have always wondered the appeal. Same thing with Dystopian movies.
