Please stop letting your elementary age kids monopolize the conversation when adults are trying to have a discussion. No one really cares enough what your 10 year old thinks of the state of the world to listen for twenty minutes.

Please do not make every moment that we are together centered around what your child is doing. She is a child, not a freaking goddess to whom we need to pay endless tribute and obey without question or complaint.

Do not allow your children to be up at all hours. That is all.

I want to know what my mil is thinking.
That I get sick every time we are together..when she visits and when we go visit her.
Do grandmas know how to use DCUM? Aren't they too busy spending 15 minutes trying to figure out how to post a blurry, off-centered, not even cute FB photo of the grandkids?
Well at least they are the same as yours...no one wants to see them

Ooops, sorry should have been more clear. I saw that the other thread was primarily the younger generation venting about the older generation.
So it made me wonder what Grandparents/older family members get aggravated about...when it comes to the young families that they share their holidays with.

My mother always staring at her phone/posting to FB instead of actually enjoying the moment(s) with her grandchildren.

Feel free to vent about the young families that you share your holidays with...
