There is no such thing as "VIP line" at Disney World. There are fast passes that are free, but limited. You can pay for a VIP tour.

Take a double stroller or rent one. Your 5yo will get tired.
Get to the parks at rope drop (30 min prior to opening time). Don't try to do everything.

Don't make sit down dinner reservations--do fast casual. Fast pass any rides the 5 year old really wants to do. Let them enjoy stuff like tom sawyers island and riding around on the monorail and doing pony rides at Fort Wildnerness. They will love it! Just be ok with taking breaks whenever you need--don't pressure yourself to do all the rides and wait in crazy lines.

ive never been. staying at Contemporary for 3 nights. any advice welcome.
