+1.

Different story if you know the other spouse.

I told the husband in a short email.

I said I am sorry if you did not want to know but that I would so I was sending the email.

Good luck!

And what was the response?

It's not a public health issue. THis was a private affair. Even if there were sloppy seconds, I don't see how this was a public health issue.

My now-ex cheated with a co-worker. The four of us were all friends (I thought)-as in went out just the four of us had celebrated a couple holidays together. I'm still friends with the other cheated on spouse, but I am still upset that she didn't tell me. I realize she was in a hard position, but the affair went on for months after she found out before I found out, and that hurts.

cheating victim here. Please tell. I would've wanted to know. Cheating is all about lies and deception and secrets. Just because your SO lives like that doesn't mean you have to.

I think this is a great way to do it. I would also want to know. I'd advise you to tell, OP.

I would stay out of it. Remember that some people like to shoot the messenger.

I don't know - are you telling them to punish your spouse's affair partner?

I don't think that's for you to do.

concentrate on fixing your own situation, leave them to sort out their own.

Go to survivinginfidelity.com. Saved me. They always say expose the affair. He has a right to know. As a betrayed spouse., I agree. Do not tell your spouse you are doing so. I am so sorry.

My spouse had an affair with another married person. My spouse confessed, we are figuring out how to move forward. Does it make any sense to tell the other cheated on spouse about the affair?
