Son tested 12/12 and received score report by email last night.

OP again - how about posting scores to answer my original question? See if there's any pattern. Please name your DC's sex as someone else posted that it makes a difference.

Son - 79 SSAT, 83 HSPT

Does the PSAT count for much of a kid scores in the high 90%s?

Might want to post this on the college forum

Boy or girl ?
DD did great on SSAT (all 90's) but a little less on hspt math probably because it's scaled to boys and girls and SSAT is just scaled for girls?
So, it was 92 SSAT to 88 Hspt or something like that
She hadn't taken any practices for the hspt though and yes for SSAT so it could have been that
Hspt is supposed to be easier though. It's more "what you have learned" whereas the SSAT is a ton of tricky problems
The kids say the hspt is easier

My kid said HSPT was much harder than SSAT. Got similar percentiles on both though.

The HSPT is an easier test so most kids will score higher, percentage wise, on the HSPT. There isn't a strong correlation, though, IME.

My DS did not take both actual tests...only HSPT. But he did take both practice tests twice and both times did better on HSPT.

I don't remember my daughter's exact scores but they were parallel - same areas she did well on for SSAT she did well for HSPT and her lowest scores (math) were the same for both.

Just got SSATs back in, waiting for HSPT. Could people share what their kids got on each test? Would love to see if there is some constant correlation. Thanks.
