Should I wait or email the schools Principal and vice principal? Her IEP meeting is on February. Who will replace the case manager will the school have a long term sub? Will this guy have any idea of what to do in the event of something happens? The problems I have with sub is that my DS is a sub. MY DS is 23 years old and got hired as a sub and he didn't even have to go to an interview just apply online and showed his 60 college credits.....

So the Math teacher is the Case Manager?

I am confused. This is your second post where you say DD and then "his". Is your DC a boy or girl?

A short term sub will NOT be a case manager. To be honest, in almost two decades in public education, I have never even heard of a long-term sub being assigned a case load.

I agree with the PP. You can also contact the special ed chair.

You need to hold tight. All schools will be closed until Jan. 4. You can email the principal/vice principal but don't expect a response until school opens after winter break.

That will be plenty of time ahead of the Feb. IEP meeting.
